Celebrating 40 Years of Friendship!

We are very proud of our long history in Ottawa. The agency could not have made it to 40 years without the support and dedication from so many wonderful staff, volunteers, board members, sponsors, donors, families, children and more.

We have lots planned throughout 2010 to celebrate our 40th Anniversary and share your stories.

Whether you are a current, former - or future! - volunteer, Little Sister or Little Brother, parent, donor, board member, placement student, we encourage you to be a part of our 40th Anniversary celebrations in some way. Share your story through our blog, read others' stories, attend an event, volunteer, or donate.

Mayor’s BIG Breakfast – Official Launch
This event will kick-off our 40th Anniversary celebrations on Wednesday February 24, 2010. Breakfast will be served in the Councillor’s Lounge with the announcement of our 2010 goals and BIG plans for our 40th Anniversary.

New Website for 2010
Our website sees on average 1500 visitors each month. For many, it is the first portal into our BIG world. We hope to secure funding to be able to create a new dynamic website for all stakeholders to learn more about BBBSO and the various ways to get involved.

BIG Picture Contest – Poster Blow Out
Last year’s Big Picture Contest – Photography was a great success thanks to the team at Mission Stream. This year, we are giving it a new twist. We are looking for a new BBBSO poster and who better to design it than Littles? Stay tuned for more details about this great contest!

Big Wrap Up - Volunteer Recognition Event

Corporate Engagement Workshop
