Robert Allen InSchool Mentoring Achievement Award

The Robert Allen InSchool Mentoring Achievement Award came about thanks to the generous donation of an individual who, in his own life, has been helped through the receipt of a small bursary while in grade school as well as strong mentoring relationships. Now a successful Manager with the Canada Revenue Agency, he wants to give back to other children who may also benefit from an award and provide them with an incentive to attend school, to actively participate in programs offered to them and to share their experience with others. Each recipient will be awarded a $100.00 gift card.

The Robert Allen InSchool Mentoring Achievement Award will be given out to Mentoring InSchool and/or Meet You In School Littles who display overall improvement as a result of their participation in the program. It is not meant to be an academic award; rather it serves to recognize the Littles overall non-academic improvement from participating in the mentoring relationship with their Mentor. Submissions can be sent to Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa as of January 9th 2012.
