Over the course of her career, Susan has come to appreciate how much of a difference it makes when someone takes the time to share their experience and offer encouragement. Those moments of guidance can shape confidence and open doors, which is why mentoring resonates so strongly with her—it’s
about helping people see what’s possible and knowing they don’t have to figure it out alone.
Susan is the owner of Robpar Accounting Inc., where she works with organizations across sectors to support financial strategy and sustainable growth. She joined the Board to support an organization that creates meaningful relationships for young people and families. Having worked alongside boards for many years, she has seen how thoughtful governance can strengthen impact and help organizations grow in meaningful ways.
Equity, diversity, and inclusion are a big part of that. In both her professional and personal life, Susan strives to listen, stay open to different perspectives, and be intentional about creating space for all voices. She believes this is ongoing work and essential to building a stronger, more inclusive community.
