Holiday Hamper Program

Thank you for your interest in giving BBBSO families a helping hand this holiday season.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa’s Holiday Hamper program successfully transitioned to gift cards due to COVID-19 last year.

Your donation will help BBBSO families shop for groceries and gifts to ensure they can have an enjoyable holiday season. BBBSO staff members will deliver the gift cards directly to the families. We would be happy to include a card and/or photo along with your gift cards, to make it more personable for our families. Select packages also include the opportunity to support the child(ren) and their families through the gift of mentorship, a designated professional caseworker, and access to special events and wrap-around services.

From one hamper over 15 years ago to 118 fully-loaded hampers in 2019 to gift cards for 200 families in 2020, YOUR GENEROSITY makes the holidays so much better for families in Ottawa and Renfrew County.
