Holiday Hamper Program

In support of BBBSO Families

Thank you for your interest in giving Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBSO) families a helping hand this holiday season. Your donation of gift cards and funds helps in need BBBSO families to shop for groceries and gifts to ensure they can have an enjoyable holiday celebration. BBBSO staff members will deliver the gift cards directly to the families and share your kindness and generosity with our families.

We are happy to include a card and/or photo along with your gift cards, to make it more personable for our families. Below are suggested amounts to support our families, however, any amount can help our families in need.

Holiday Hamper Packages:

SNOW BALL PACKAGE (FAMILY OF 2-3) TOTAL = $150

  • $150 gift card for groceries (Loblaws, Walmart, Sobeys or Food Basics)

SNOW GLOBE PACKAGE (FAMILY OF 2-3) TOTAL = $200

  • $100 gift card for groceries (Loblaws, Walmart Sobeys or Food Basics)
  • $100 gift card for gifts (Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, Toys R US, Sportchek or Winners)

SNOW ANGEL PACKAGE (FAMILY OF 2-3) TOTAL = $250

  • $150 gift card for groceries (Loblaws, Walmart, Sobeys or Food Basics)
  • $100 gift card for gifts (Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, Toys R US, Sportchek or Winners)

SNOWMAN PACKAGE (FAMILY OF 2-3) TOTAL = $300

  • $175 gift card for groceries (Loblaws, Walmart, Sobeys or Food Basics)
  • $125 gift card for gifts (Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, Toys R US, Sportchek or Winners)

SNOW CASTLE PACKAGE (FAMILY OF 3-4) TOTAL = $400

  • $250 gift card for groceries (Loblaws, Walmart, Sobeys or Food Basics)
  • $150 gift card for gifts (Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, Toys R US, Sportchek or Winners)

SNOW KINGDOM PACKAGE (FAMILY OF 5+) TOTAL = $550

  • $300 gift card for groceries (Loblaws, Walmart, Sobeys or Food Basics)
  • $250 gift card for gifts (Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, Toys R US, Sportchek or Winners)

Please ensure that the gift card activation receipts are included (this is normally a separate receipt for each gift card), and that you’ve attached the completed THE HOLIDAY HAMPER PROGRAM DONATION FORM to the outside of your envelope. A tax receipt is available for your gift card and cash donations (please ensure you check the box on THE HOLIDAY HAMPER PROGRAM DONATION FORM). We would also love photos of you with your card, message and/or photo along with the gift cards. These photos will be used to highlight holiday giving on the BBBSO social media platforms and publications.

DROP-OFF INSTRUCTIONS:

Drop-off will be available at the BBBSO office (1645 Woodroffe Avenue – Old Confederation High School) on Monday – Friday 9 AM – 4 PM.  To make other arrangements for drop off outside office hours please contact Erin, erin.helmer@bbbso.ca.
